DALLAS, Aug. 24 /Christian Newswire/ -- With its July launch during the MegaFest music and ministry conference in Atlanta, the national Christian newspaper The Kingdom Press is rapidly positioning itself as the weekly source believers nationwide turn to for current Christian news, commentary, updates on ministry events, and inspirational teaching from today’s most respected pastors and Christian leaders.

Publisher Diana Hardy explained that she launched The Kingdom Press as a news, information, and inspiration source that would appeal to a wide Christian audience. “I think our motto, ‘One Body, One Voice,’ says it all,” explained Hardy. “God called the Church to walk in unity. That’s why you won’t see any gossip disguised as ‘news’ in The Kingdom Press. No stories that hurt others, that tear down. The Kingdom Press is about news, articles, and columns that will inspire, exhort, inform, and instruct the body of Christ.”

Hardy said the mission of the paper is to provide an alternative for readers who desire serious, well-written reports with high moral standards of integrity. “Our publication includes world and national news coverage, sports, business and finance, arts and entertainment, health and beauty, opinion and editorial, and classified advertisements,” she explained. “Most importantly, we achieve this by not only informing our readers but by also offering instruction on how to live healthy, prosperous Christian lives.”

Hardy added that The Kingdom Press is specially priced to make it appealing for churches to offer to its members and to the community. “For those churches who sell copies in their community we have structured the pricing to ensure that they will make a profit,” she said. “It’s our way of tithing back into the churches that take advantage of this incredible ministry tool.”

“And for advertisers, along with the purchase of six months of advertising, a business or church philanthropy can be highlighted on our web site under ‘Spotlight on Giving,’” said Hardy. “Businesses and churches can also sponsor an education page that will include lesson plans based on articles featured in The Kingdom Press. Sponsors will have banner ads on that page.”

Hardy announced that The Kingdom Press will soon be available at major global Christian conferences and events, as well as at Christian bookstores throughout the nation. “We are constantly expanding to include major store chains, drugstores, and retail chains,” she said.
