NEWARK, DE, Sept. 2 /Christian Newswire/ -- Harold Naylor, Jr. has been named to the new position of Director of Stewardship at Tall Oaks Classical School in Newark, DE. Tall Oaks, established in 1994, is one of only two classical Christian schools in Delaware with a current enrollment of 153 and growing.

"Harold comes to Tall Oaks with 8 years of strong advancement experience. It is exactly what this education ministry needs as it continues to grow and have a larger impact in northern Delaware and Maryland," said Don Post, Headmaster. "We have just been accredited by the Association of Classical and Christian Schools, as one of only 17 schools in the U.S. to achieve this milestone. Adding the stewardship function is one of the key areas we outlined for improvement in this process," added Post.

"The mission of Tall Oaks is: Guided by the Word of God as our foundation, we will train Christian leaders who will righteously lead in their vocations, families and church. Post went on to say, "Adding Harold to our team will enable us to be better connected to our communities and help our students to receive exposure to the world of opportunities around them. He will also be able to garner support for the school community so that more children may benefit from a Classical Christian education."

In addition to a strong background in business and Christian school development, Harold brings with him his passion for Christian schooling -- locally and nationally. As co-founder of www.DiscoverChristianSchools.com and author of the www.AdvanceChristianSchools.blogspot.com blog, Harold shares this passion with parents (via DiscoverChristianSchools.com) and administrators (via AdvanceChristianSchools.com). His desire is to see Christian families and Christian schools grow stronger -- impacting their communities for the Kingdom.

Naylor states, "I am grateful for the opportunity to work at Tall Oaks Classical School. This young and growing school has a great opportunity to train generations of young people to become strong Christian citizens, workers, spouses, and parents -- leading in their homes, churches and communities. It will be a wonderful challenge to build on the excellent foundation which God has already established."

Harold joined the administrative team on July 1 and has begun his work by connecting with local churches and businesses to let them know that Tall Oaks is on the move.
