New Website Feeds Orphans Through T-shirt Sales
Contact: Jessica Klauber, MojuProject.com, 941-288-2652

SARASOTA, Fla., Nov. 20 /Christian Newswire/ --  "Every day almost 16,000 children die from hunger-related causes," reports The Lancet, the world's leading independent general medical journal. The Moju Project Website was created to help curtail the hunger epidemic that is taking the life of one child every five seconds.

The Moju Project is about uniting together as one to save one. Its slogan "fashioned to save the world" means that anything purchased through its website goes toward saving a life. The concept for the Moju Project is simple: Every T-Shirt sold through the website will feed a hungry orphan a hot meal daily for one month.

"We believe that many people want to make a difference in this world, but they just aren't sure where to begin. We're hoping the Moju Project is the starting point," said Gerrid T. Smith, Co-Founder.

"Our goal is to offer unique and creative T-shirts that people want to wear, not only because of the inventive designs but also because people who buy our T-shirts know they are making a contribution toward saving lives. Our super comfortable shirts are priced affordably and literally feed an orphan for one month," said Jessica Klauber, the other Co-Founder. "Why wouldn't someone want to get involved?"

The Moju Project funnels its funds through two 501c3 non-profit organizations: Children's Hopechest and Feed My Starving Children. "By working closely with these partners, we can track the impact we are making around the world and also guarantee where our dollars are being spent," said Smith.

When asked the meaning of the word moju, Klauber responded, "It's an Estonian word meaning to impact. That's our purpose. We are the Moju generation!"
