COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Nov. 8 /Christian Newswire/ -- Counsel & Capital ("C&C"), a non-profit organization focused on building bridges of trust and accountability between 'left-brain' donors and Christian ministries, announced today that they have selected Faith Comes By Hearing ("FCBH") to receive their 2010 Ministry Award. FCBH will receive a $100,000 gift and a communication tool designed to help them explain their project to 'left-brain' donors.

FCBH is a ministry committed to reaching the world's poor and illiterate people with God's Word through Audio Bible recordings in native languages. The Albuquerque-based ministry's Digital Bible Project proposal was selected based upon the compelling nature of its project and comprehensive application of 1 Chronicles 28 & 29, (King David's preparations for the building of the Temple in Israel), summarized in "Turning Dreams into Reality – A Biblical Pattern."

The Digital Bible Project – which includes the world's largest collection of digital Scripture – makes Bible text and audio freely accessible to individuals and organizations around the world through the Internet, mobile devices, social networks, and smartphone apps like Bible.is.

"Counsel & Capital is pleased to announce Faith Comes By Hearing as our 2010 Ministry Award recipient," said Jeannie Cox, spokesperson for C&C. "This project compellingly uses cutting-edge technology and effectively applies a proven Biblical model in pursuit of a meaningful goal."

C&C believes that there is a gulf between certain donors who feel the weight of responsibility to give wisely, and Christian ministries passionate in pursuing their vision. C&C encourages ministries to add a communication style that speaks to donors from the business world and other vocations with a predominance of 'left-brain' thinkers.

C&C also assists in identifying capital opportunities and provides resources that will more effectively accelerate a ministry to the "next level."

"We are truly humbled and honored to receive this award and financial blessing," stated Morgan Jackson, international director of Faith Comes By Hearing. "We are excited to see the impact that will result from the Counsel & Capital Ministry Award."
